Joys of 2013

Joys of 2013

I hope everyone is having wonderful holidays!:)
As today being the 31st of December and my 100th post, I thought I would go through some of the photos I took in 2013 and pick out some of my favorites. Most of them were taken within a few hours of Toronto; Hopefully this poor art student thing is a phase and I’ll be able to travel again soon!:) Thank you all for making my time on WordPress rewarding and inspiring. Talk to you all in the New Year!:)

“One love
One blood
One life
You got to do what you should
One life
With each other
Sisters
Brothers
One life
But we’re not the same
We get to
Carry each other
Carry each other

One…life

One”

That song came on the radio today and I was singing it at the top of my lungs. One of those songs I’ve heard a thousand times but never grow sick off.

This was a photo that I took recently that I used at school as part of a project to demonstrate how we have only one planet, expressing it’s fragility and the impact of fossil fuels. I get really sad at times because there’s no reason other than greed why we’re not all energy independent by now. If governments truly cared, they would have helped us achieve this. I know the technology existed, I had it on my calculator when I was a kid.

I also added a couple more photos that I took recently and never uploaded. One being the CN Tower which kinda looks like a one; And one fluorescent focal worker at the train station.
